From his earliest years in Cuba, Adrian was always passionate about painting. After immigrating to the United States at the age of 21, Adrian devoted himself to building a successful landscaping career for over 20 years. He is the father of two and a proud, doting grandfather to a beautiful grandson.
His paintings are influenced by all the things in his life whether it is the nostalgic images of his childhood in Cuba, the wonders of nature, or his love of his family. PATCHES (Pediatric Alternative Treatment, Care, Housing & Evaluation Services) held a charity auction event for children in 2024.
Butterfly was inspired by the butterfly gardens at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. The monarch butterflies are beautiful, delicate creatures to study. They are one of my favorite distractions and I could watch them flutter around all day. It is such a peaceful activity to sit still and wait for one to land on you so that you can see the butterfly's delicate beauty to its fullest. With this piece, you can capture that same beauty and wonder without worrying the butterfly will fly away.
